Frequently Asked Questions About booking a tour How much does the tour cost? Begining 1 April 2023, our brewery tour will be charged per person with the following prices; Adult over 18 years old : 500 yen (inc. tax), Child between 7 and 17 years old : 200 yen (inc. tax), Child under 6 years old : Free When is the brewery closed? Every Wednesday and Thursday. The brewery is closed from December 31 to January 3 and during times of maintenance. When is the earliest I can book a tour? You can book a tour 1 month prior to your desired tour date. Do I have to book a tour before I go? Yes, you need to book a tour in advance. Tours not fully booked are available for same day admission. By when do I have to make a reservation? You must book your tour no later than 16:00 the day before your desired tour date. How many tours are there daily? There are 10 tours a day. (10:00/10:30/11:00/13:00/13:30/14:00/14:30/15:00/15:30/16:00) Do I need to book a tour if I'm alone? Yes. Tours are based on capacity system. Please call us. Should I include infants and children? Yes. The total number of people is required. Can I cancel my booking? Yes. About a tour Does the production line move everyday? How long is the tour? The tour is 30 mins long and the beer sampling is approximately 20 mins. The total tour time is about 1 hour. Can I have sample beer on weekends too? Yes. Anyone on a tour who is not driving and not a minor can have a sample. Is any other language available on the tour besides Japanese? No, but we provide a pamflet in English, Chinese and Korean to non-Japanese speakers. Can I use a wheelchair or stroller? Yes, but you may not get close to windows where the floor is not flat. Can I borrow a wheelchair or stroller? Yes, but the number is limited. Please let us know before you book a tour. Can I take photos or videos during a tour? Yes, but there are some places you cannot use flash. Ask a guide before a tour for more details. About other facilities Can I eat and drink while I wait for my tour time? No. You're not allowed to bring your own food or drink inside. Please let us know if you have small children or need some drinks at receptions. We have a smoking room on 1st floor. Can I use other facilities if I'm not on tour? Yes. Can I purchase your beer? Yes. Do you have any shuttle buses? No. Please come by walk, bus or public transportations. I drove here, but I want to call Daiko taxi service so can I have beer sampling? We strongly do not encourage you to do that. There are not many daiko taxi services available in daytime around brewery, and there is not enough parking space.
